Our take
The ASUS TUF VG27AQL5A is a beast for competitive gaming. The 210Hz refresh rate and 0.3ms response are incredible—motion is buttery smooth. QHD resolution sharpens details, and the IPS panel looks great. FreeSync Premium works flawlessly. The stand is fully adjustable, which is a huge plus. However, the brightness seems oddly high at 1200 lm, but actual use is fine. Speakers are mediocre. For $300, this monitor offers fantastic performance and features, but ensure your GPU can push QHD at high frames.
